28 November. Bond Air Services (Bond) is proud to have presented cheques totaling over £5,000 to three charities at the company’s base at Gloucestershire Airport earlier today.
Staff at Bond have raised a total of £5,254.83 through a variety of fundraising efforts over the course of the year, exceeding the target of £3,000 the company set itself in January. The sum has been split equally between CLIC Sargent, Help for Heroes and the FOCUS Oncology unit at Cheltenham General Hospital.
The principal fundraising events were the Gloucester Dragon Boat Regatta, Paris Marathon, and the ultimate test of the team, The Three Peaks Challenge. Other events included quiz nights and a half marathon around Bristol.
Chris Greenhill, Managing Director of Bond Air Services, said: “I am delighted that we can make such a significant contribution to three very deserving charities. Today is testament to the hard work of many people across the company, and I hope we can continue our efforts into 2013.”
